Sharing some thoughts, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.

May we all live by the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr..

May we honor, accept, & embrace our differences.

May we teach our children acceptance, for “The art of acceptance is the art of making someone who has just done you a small favor wish that he might have done you a greater one.”~ Martin Luther King, Jr..

May we honor the oath we took as physicians, & work towards equality & equity for all patients for which we care.

May we speak out when we see injustice, & work towards building relationships with each other.

May we be #ColorBrave rather than #ColorBlind, & stand up for each other as allies, rather than adversaries.

May we speak up for those who’ve yet to discover their voice, & may we lead by example & be the change needed to create peace & justice for all in our world.
